CURRICULUM VITAE :
Artist Statement:
While my professional path has evolved over time, my studio practice has remained a constant thread. My interdisciplinary mixed-media practice explores the relationships between memory, place and material history. Influenced by my Latin roots in LA, science at JPL/NASA and Caltech, my ongoing connection to Denmark as a second home, and perspectives gained through travel, I investigate how cultural identity and landscape shape personal and collective narratives. / I repurpose and re-contextualize weathered detritus - objects that carry traces of lived experience and environment. Through these materials, I explore flow, resilience, cultural continuity, and the quiet stories embedded in everyday matter.
